Some Thoughts on TBN [Television]

I sit here tonight in complete awe. I had most of the day off today from my real estate practice, came in from some chores outside and decided to watch the local news. While surfing the channels I came across the Trinity Broad Casting Network. I have seen this charade on other occasions and have watched in disbelief at what people pass off for "christian television"!!!!!
Now, mind you, I was never very "religious" growing up, Mom tried to raise me as a good little Sunday keeper, however that didn't work. You see, even as a young lad of 10, I could see there was something wrong with the "church", and the adults, who allowed certain things to be done in the name of "religion. Nowadays, we would say ,"it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out" But after watching TBN, today,,, I am totally ashamed of the men and women calling TBN,,,BIBLE,,,based religion. What a complete farse.
The show went on for 2 hours,,,,did I say SHOW,,,I did didn't I. Yes, it was better than most Broadway, Las Vegas, Chicago,and Los Angeles theater presentaions. They had dancers, young dancers, dancing aroud to some horrible James Brown wannabe singer singing in RAP style, people were up in the audience shouting and dancing in the isles. Every,,, QUOTE,,, "pastor", UNQUOTE,,, that spoke,, gave all credit to the host, instead oF God,, for the TBN "ministry" and adulation was given to every man that got up and spoke. Some of the women "pastors" were actually demonic in their presentaions. To a man and to a women,,,,they all asked for money in one way or another, one "pastor" even had the gaul to ...order, yes demand... the TV audience that were watching at home to send in no less than $70.00 apiece as a love gift to TBN.
They had professional entertainers, professional musicians, professional money raisers and even had the charlatin Benny Hinn asking for money at one time. It was a complete disgrace to the supposedly intelligent mind,,,,,,but millions fell for it. They reached their goal to keep TBN on the air.
I guess the whole point I am trying to make in all this critical critique is ....WHERE ARE THE BRAINS OF THOSE THAT FALL FOR THIS PEUTRID EXAMPLE OF CARNIVAL PICK ----POCKETING. How Jesus must weep, when He looks down and sees men and women believing,, He,,,, is in this horrible fleecing of christiandom. I can see how easy it will be for,, our people,, to be fooled,, when Satan comes on the scene and impersonates Jesus the Christ. This hellacious demon will be an honored guest on shows like TBN and many others....why,,, because they do not know the humble and lowly Saviour as they say they do. My prayer is that anyone who reads this on your site, if you put it on the site,,,will, for their own sake,,, study the Spirit of Prophesy and their Scriptures as they have never studied before. Rumor has it that the Rhode Island has passed a Sunday law, where noone will be allowed to work on Sunday.Am I getting your attention??
Brother , we are "at the door", can anyone who is anchored in the truth,, for this time,, not see what religion has become in this country....try pure show business,,, and even in the SDA "church"???Why because the leadership loves to emulate the worldly "religionists".. Unify brothers and sisters in the historic Seventh Day Adventists doctrines of old. Press together,,,,,Sunday is acomin,,,,,pray for discernment,,, place yourself in a position to be made ready and willing to be saved in God's WAY,,,,,not the worlds,,, take it from an old sinner,,, if I can see it why can't you folks,,,,,,,, God's peace Br.Dutch
