Something to Think Hard About

Bob,

This Brian H. appears to be seeking - how is he taking the Wed – Sat time-line?
I understand fully where you are coming from regarding the angel instructing thing.
It is almost as if one is making the jump to that of a blasphemous person- I got over it a little quicker- I have always been one that when I see absolute truth- I accept it.

It boils down to whether we believe that she was instructed in something that just don't add up, but is said by EGW, vs believing what is biblical- being led or being a thinker. The torturing is clear to me. The WED- Sat time line is clear- the False trinity/binity thing is clear- the wrong teaching of punishment is clear– the wrong teaching of the Investigative Judgment is clear. If we take that someone, anyone believes something because they are said to have passed the biblical test, then we might as well foll0w a number of people. But being programmed SDA's we are scared to. That is a test that most as Ed and Imad types just can't pass.
Again, if there is a smidgen of something that a pioneer believed, some will jump on it, but with no smidgen, (as Wed-Sat, they are scared to.

It's pretty clear to me that that is dangerous ground.

I look at it this way; if it is truth and I don't want to go with it because I am afraid of not following EGW than what difference is it to follow Rome. There are numerous that know and even say that Sat is the Sabbath, and some that don't eat unclean foods, but doing that when you reject clear truths makes one no better in their following the bible.

How can one believe that God tortures- WHY would one believe it- Why would Imad and Ed say Wed –Sat is error – IT IS ONLY BECAUSE EGW says it.

I believe that taking cause to effect mentally is not a problem in any degree for me when I see truth. It is as red flag- I don't care who claims what,-EGW or an angel; once I was into 20 minutes of Stringfellow's message, I saw absolute truth, and accepted it- I don't care if ALL on A4T or none on A$T accepted it, I'd still know it was truth.

I think I said this before, but I made a decision to never blindly follow again after Vietnam- Bob, blindly following a leader can be deadly. Even tho the Marine corps is great at instilling such, believe me, the blind following and belief of following EGW error makes USMC blind following child’s play.

I will be clear again, and this is where I hear our differences. I do not believe an angel told EGW that ... the fire shall not be quenched as long as there is the least particle to prey upon. Bob, how can you or anyone not see that that is a mini- version of a satanic teaching?? Bob, such would mean every part of your body is burning slowly up till it gets your brain. COME ON!!
Do we serve a God like that??

It is as hard for me to not see a person taking a strong stand on that and her mistakes in the pillars as it does not seeing how a person can not see that Jesus in no way rose on Sunday, or that there is ONLY ONE GOD, and Jesus was issued forth from that one God.

PS – I just don't see the quandary you mention- I can see questioning, as it took me 10 days to get a full grasp on the WED - Sat time-line, but at the getgo I saw that Jesus in no way rose on Sunday- I put my blind following aside because truth was more important.

GAH
