As a fellow Adventist I am disappointed to see a negative letter that is
a clear misrepresentation of another religion. The condemning, all
encompassing view of Islam is not consistent with most Islamic believers
and through your apparent support of its message puts Adventists is a
bad position.

I do not feel that the message on your site is Christian or opens
further dialogue with people of Islamic faith to better reach them. I
think we should work to open doors of communication not close them
through close-minded, ill informed messages.

Dear Kevin,

I could not find an instance where the letter that is posted on
Adventist4Truth differs from the letter on the other site. I posted the
letter as I received it, editing nothing. It may be true that there is some
commentary regarding this letter, but if so, I was not made aware of it.

Regarding your personal feelings of the effect or influence to Adventism
among the Islamic population, I can say that the Adventist Church has much
to respond to. It has made its main mission in aligning itself with all the
false religions of the world rather than being apart and distinct; "a
peculiar people".

It is true that not all Moslems are terrorists...but unfortunately, it is
very hard to show that ALL terrorists are NOT Moslems. So where does the
problem lie?

Christ faced a similar situation when He spoke to the Samaritan woman at
Jacob's well. Who did He say had the Truth? Were the Samaritans early
descendants of the Jews or the Moslems??? Truth cuts through nationalism and
bigotry and don't forget that Islam is the brainchild of the Papacy.

If you are placing your trust and faith in the Adventist Church or
denomination, you are ripe for deception.
