The Passion of Love mini-book

The Lord has visited us at Remnant Publications! Let me tell you how it all happened.

One of Remnant Publications employees was in prayer this past Sunday February 15. During prayer he became deeply impressed that Remnant needed to print the last few chapters of the Desire of Ages into a mini-book and title it in such a way as to catch the attention of the millions of people who will go and see the new film "The Passion of the Christ", by Mel Gibson.

This film could lead millions of people to read their Bibles or other literature dealing with the crucifixion of Christ. This gives Christians a unique opportunity to reach them with the greatest book ever written about the life of Christ as ranked by the Library of Congress!

In this shortened Desire of Ages, we would advertise the full Desire of Ages book and other critical last day message books like the popular Great Controversy and free Bible study offers. People would read this mini-book and be drawn to a deeper, saving relationship with God!

Our employee presented it to the rest of Remnant Publications Staff Monday morning during our cooperate worship. Dwight Hall, Remnant Publications President, loved the idea and plans were immediately adopted to produce this mini-book. Not 15 minutes later, Remnant Publications received a phone call from a well-known church leader. This man told us that they had been on their knees praying and were deeply impressed that we needed to print a mini-book from the last few chapters of the Desire of Ages and make it available for those whose curiosity is triggered by "The Passion of the Christ" movie. We were overjoyed to see the Holy Spirit moving on several people to bring this project to our attention.

Then we received yet another phone call from another church leader asking us to do this very same mini-book!

The next day was Tuesday and a Remnant employee just returning from vacation, who had not heard of this project, had a dream about the urgent need to do this exact same project! He presented his dream to the Remnant Publications staff and all were amazed. Once again God was sending us a message telling us how urgent this project was to Him.

Plans were rapidly put into motion. It was arranged for this idea to be presented at a nearby church leadership meeting. The response was overwhelmingly positive from 100% of the attendees. Other supporting ministries were announcing plans to purchase and distribute this mini-book as soon as we could print it. We started receiving orders and ended Wednesday with over 13,000 books pre-sold and many more promises from church leaders and laymen who heard about this project to purchase tens of thousands more.

Wednesday Remnant Publications received yet another phone call from a lawyer who had spent much of the previous night in prayer and was deeply impressed that this very same project was needed. He approached us and was delighted to hear that so many others were receiving the same type of message he did from the Lord.

This Desire of Ages mini-book tentatively called "The Passion of Love", will have the first 100,000 printed by the 3rd of March. This mini-book will have a huge impact! A brilliant, attractive cover is currently being designed. The Lord urgently wants this book made available to the public. Clearly this is His plan, not ours. This will be a 5.5 x 8.5 inch book and will be 128 pages long and retail at $9.95 each and will be available at reduced prices. It will be an ideal witnessing tool for all of God's followers to hand out to friends, family, co-workers or strangers as opportunities present themselves.

The last days are rapidly coming to an end. The signs of the times everywhere tell us we are rapidly approaching the end of the world. We have a world to warn that the judgments of God are about to fall upon the earth! There are people who need to hear this message about a God who loves them and desperately wants to save them from eternal destruction.
