Luke 6:27-36Defining The Character of God - our goal

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.
30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. (KJV)

27 `But I say to you who are hearing, Love your enemies, do good to those hating you,
28 bless those cursing you, and pray for those accusing you falsely;
29 and to him smiting thee upon the cheek, give also the other, and from him taking away from thee the mantle, also the coat thou mayest not keep back.
30 `And to every one who is asking of thee, be giving; and from him who is taking away thy goods, be not asking again;
31 and as ye wish that men may do to you, do ye also to them in like manner;
32 and--if ye love those loving you, what grace have ye? for also the sinful love those loving them;
33 and if ye do good to those doing good to you, what grace have ye? for also the sinful do the same;
34 and if ye lend to those of whom ye hope to receive back, what grace have ye? for also the sinful lend to sinners--that they may receive again as much.
35 `But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again, and your reward will be great, and ye shall be sons of the Highest, because He is kind unto the ungracious and evil;
36 be ye therefore merciful, as also your Father is merciful. (YLT)

17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but--to proclaim good news; not in wisdom of discourse, that the cross of the Christ may not be made of none effect;
18 for the word of the cross to those indeed perishing is foolishness, and to us--those being saved--it is the power of God,

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. (KJV)

3 and if I give away to feed others all my goods, and if I give up my body that I may be burned, and have not love, I am profited nothing.
4 The love is long-suffering, it is kind, the love doth not envy, the love doth not vaunt itself, is not puffed up,
5 doth not act unseemly, doth not seek its own things, is not provoked, doth not impute evil,
6 rejoiceth not over the unrighteousness, and rejoiceth with the truth;
7 all things it beareth, all it believeth, all it hopeth, all it endureth.
8 The love doth never fail; and whether there be prophecies, they shall become useless; whether tongues, they shall cease; whether knowledge, it shall become useless; (YLT)

15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. (KJV)

14 that thou keep the command unspotted, unblameable, till the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 which in His own times He shall shew--the blessed and only potentate, the King of the kings and Lord of the lords,

Hebrews 5:8 — The entire point of the Cross experience was that Jesus Christ, being Michael in the OT, submitted to His Father's will and allowed Himself to be put to death as a Criminal, no mercy being shown to Him - Again, WHO WAS HE? What were One of His last spoken words? - 'Forgive them' Why...? - What was demonstrated at the Cross was LOVE, Pure and Simple - His death did NOT cover anyone's Sins!!! - That IS how the World thinks - Don't be as the World is or thinks (see Genesis 18:1, Exodus 3:2, Exodus 3:13, Numbers 12:1-8, Isaiah 42:18-21, John 1:18 )

2 Peter 1:4 — This is a Proof Text that the 144,000 receive Divine Nature, similar to the Father's, prior to the Second Coming - Since He is the author of it, only He can provide it (see Revelation 14:1 )

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (KJV)

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. (KJV)

1 John 4:8 — Character of God - The first basic and foundational Truth about God is that He IS Love and Love does NOT keep a record of our sins - One cannot be a lover of God if he does not also Love God (see Exodus34:6,7Psalms 32:2, Isaiah 55:8-11, Isaiah 64:4, Jeremiah 31:34Micah 4:8, 1 Corinthians 2:9, 2 Corinthians 5:18,19Hebrews 10:17, 1 John 4:16 )

Revelation 12:11,12 — Rejoice if you are in God's understanding rather than in the world's (the sea ) understanding

11 And they overcame him by (because of ) the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (KJV)

11 and they did overcome him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life--unto death;
12 because of this be glad, ye heavens, and those in them who do tabernacle; woe to those inhabiting the land and the sea, because the Devil did go down unto you, having great wrath, having known that he hath little time.' (YLT)

Revelation 14:1 — The reason why the 144,000 bare the Father's name on their foreheads is because His Holy Name represents His Character, which they have attained. Thus they are PERFECTED ... BEFORE the Second Coming (see 2 Peter 1:4 )

1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. (KJV)

Revelations 21:1 — The Heavens, Earth & Sea are shown as different levels of thinking: Heavens = Pure, godly thinking like God's (just as rain and snow comes from the heavens is safe to drink ); Earth = Self, the mind-set that you possrss about God, which is always skewed, until He enters your mind and fills it with correct thinking; Sea = the world's way of thinking about God and their comprehension of Him (it is nonexistent )

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (KJV)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth did pass away, and the sea is not any more; (YLT)
