The Millenium Period

Lets look at this 1000 year period. Literal or spiritual who cares I am with My Father and His Son to live forever.

2 Peter 3:8 – But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

So who knows, maybe it will only last a literal day. But it will happen!

Revelation 20:1 – And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

Revelation 20:2 – And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Revelation 20:3 – And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Revelation 20:4 – And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 20:5 – But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 – Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:7 – And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

So, here we have the first resurrection.

1 Corinthians 15:51 – Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1 Corinthians 15:52 – In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessolonians 4:16 – For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thessolonians 4:17 – Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

So, we have Gods people in heaven because the first resurrection has happened.

What happened to the unrighteous people at the literal second coming of Christ?

2 Thessolonians 2:8 – And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
What about the unrighteous people who are still dead in the graves? What will happen to them?

Revelation 20:5 – But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

So, in heaven we have God’s people. We have a wedding. At the wedding there are servants, friends of the bride and then there is the bride.

The bride is made up of the people who have overcome sin while in sinful flesh.

We have the servants and the friends who will now have the separation of the wheat and the tares.

Here we have God’s people in heaven.

Revelation 19:2 – For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

Revelation 19:3 – And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

Question: What is this great whore? Babylon.

(YLT) Young's Literal Translation

Revelation 19:3 – and a second time they said, `Alleluia;' and her smoke doth come up--to the ages of the ages! (YLT)
Question: Why is the smoke of Babylon going up into heaven?

We have people in heaven that have every wind of doctrine but their hearts were right with God and they are going to have to be brought into the truth.

Revelation 20:4 – And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who have been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God, and who did not bow before the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand, and they did live and reign with Christ the thousand years;

Remember what judgment means? His ways. When God is judging His people He is giving them His ways, you could say the truth.

Now after the millennium is over and all of God people have the truth the second resurrection will happen.

Revelation 20:5 – But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 Happy and holy is he who is having part in the first rising again; over these the second death hath not authority, but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Remember, a priest is someone who is eating the shew bread and being healed.

The wicked are then raised from the dead and they go before the great thrown judgement.

What happens to people who have refused to let Jesus wash them with the waters of His words?

James 1:15 – Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

What brings forth death? Sin.

1 John 4:17 – Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

If you have perfect love it will have cast out all fear.

Fear has torment. If you do not have perfect love them when you go before the great thrown judgment you will be scared to death because there will in your mind this angry God who is mad at people and is going to burn them forever and ever unto the ceasless ages of eternity.
Their hearts will fail them.

Luke 21:26 – Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

That is why the message of God is love is so important. You do not have to be scared of our Father or His Son.

Lets look at two people who were scared to death.

Acts 5:1 – But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

Acts 5:2 – And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Acts 5:3 – But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Acts 5:4 – Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Acts 5:5 – And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Acts 5:6 – And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

Acts 5:7 – And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

Acts 5:8 – And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Acts 5:9 – Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

Acts 5:10 – Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

Why do you think she died? Would a God of love kill her?

No they both were scared to death.
I have taught this parable before.

We know that the talents are the riches that we get from God. We know that the kingdom of God is with in us. It is between our ears.

Matthew 25:14 – For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

Matthew 25:15 – And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

Matthew 25:16 – Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

Matthew 25:17 – And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

Matthew 25:18 – But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

Matthew 25:19 – After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

Matthew 25:20 – And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

Matthew 25:21 – His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Matthew 25:22 – He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

Matthew 25:23 – His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Now lets get to the man that was given only one talent.

Why do you think that God only gave him one talent instead of five ot ten like He gave the others?

He could not handle the one talent much less five or ten.

Matthew 25:24 – Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

Here we have the angry God alive and well in the mans thinking, this god is every ware in the religious world.

Just go to any church and ask them is God going to put people in hell and roast and toast them for the ceaseless ages of eternity? Is our Father going to kill anyone.

They would say you bet He is. They do not know the character of our Father.

They are worshiping the image of the beast. They have created God in their own image.

Matthew 25:25 – And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

Notice he was afraid, he did not have perfect love that casts out all fear. Notice He made God’s riches earthy.

That is when we pick up the bible and put our own carnal and earthly understanding to it.

When you do that all you have is this angry god that torments you.

Matthew 25:26 – His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

Matthew 25:27 – Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

Matthew 25:28 – Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

Here the man lost that which he had.

Matthew 13:12 – For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

God does not kill any one all He does is show up and the sin that is in them it kills them.

They are scared to death.

The bible is not a rule book of do’s and don’t’s it is a book of experiences.

You live your life and God will show you your self all through out the book.
1 Chronicles 13:9 – And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.

1 Chronicles 13:10 – And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Here an ox was stumbling and Uzza put forth his hands.

An ox is a servant animal. When we see a servant of God stumbling we are to keep our hands off of it because if we put our hands on it we will pollute it.

Deuteronomy 27:5 – And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.

Exodus 20:25 – And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

Remember, I saw a servant of God stumbling and I put my hands on it and polluted it.

Now lets compare some other verses.

Exodus 23:4 – If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

Deuteronomy 22:1 – Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

So what is the difference? Do I help my brother when I see him stumbling otr not.

What is the difference.

One is done without the voice of Christ leading and the other is done with the voice of Christ.

John 6:28 – Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
John 6:29 – Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Believe means to be nourished.

You must be nourished by the truths that God’s people are giving you.

The truth will set you free. Free from sin.
The question is, is there enough time?

Iniquity takes a longtime to get rid of because the cup of Babylon is a lot deeper than we ever thought.

But that is okay because as long as your heart is right you will be saved. If you do not get it all then you will get it in heaven. If you are growing you are going.

Only God can judge the heart. We are not to number Israel.

Ezekiel 36:27 – And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

This is what we are receiving the spirit of God.

Causing us to walk in His ways.

We must let Jesus take the fear ant torment out of our Hearts.

Revelation 14:11 – And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

The truth torments those who do not want it.
